X-Acto #X211 blades were chosen for this knife due to their trusted, standardized, and dimensionally stable manufacturing made in the USA.
Please note that other X-Acto and 3rd party blades may fit The Sardine, but cannot be guaranteed to function.
Sardine can is cute but tan broke off without lifting the lid. Knife design has too much play in the vertical axis, spring and button rattle. When deployed or stored. Could use an iteration or two to avoid play in the mechanism and spring

Beautiful little pocket tool. Probably for parcels and packages these days. Nicely made and I love the novelty sardine tin presentation. Bought this one as a gift, having been so impressed by the one I bought for myself.

Such a smart little knife, I use it all the time. Was worried that the blade would poke a hole in my pocket but I can be confident that the blade stays tucked in with the metal spring. The packaging was a fun little surprise as well!
